SUMMARY:The Maine Cannabis Convention 2022
DESCRIPTION:Maine’s Cannabis Culture\nOur 7th Annual Maine Cannabis Convention\nAs Mainers know, the road to marijuana legalization has been a road of changing legislation, prolonged results, and ultimately victory. Although the people of Maine voted to legalize recreational sales in Maine in 2016, it took until October 9th, 2020 until dispensaries were allowed by the state to actually begin recreational sales. Although the medicinal community has flourished during this time, this delay has been frustrating to say the least. But Mainers showed up strong, with 2020 generating $111 million in medical sales alone. There are currently 37 dispensaries both medicinal and recreational in Portland and surrounding areas. NECANN is happy to join the people of Maine in celebration of the progress made thus far. As well as being a part of the Maine cannabis communities continued growth. Make sure to book your tickets for our Portland event today!
