Goodblend Texas, a San Marcos-based marijuana dispensary, is launching The Heights Dark Chocolate- the state's first medical marijuana chocolate bar available for sale. The Heights Dark Chocolate bar contains 5 mg of THC per square, with 100 mg of THC in each bar.

Jane Tallman, president of Goodblend Texas, said that chocolate is one of the customers' most widely requested products by customers. "Studies show that by infusing THC with fats like that in chocolate, the beneficial THC experience can be amplified," Tallman said.

"This is great news for patients who need long-term relief from conditions such as PTSD, cancer, or neurological conditions," Tallman added. "Once we developed a high-quality, consistent, and delicious bar of chocolate, we were excited to make it available to Texan patients," Tallman said. "In the future, we hope to offer more than one flavor of chocolate so that medical marijuana patients in Texas can enjoy a therapeutic treat regardless of their preferred tastes."

The Heights Dark Chocolate Bar is available for purchase at Goodblend Texas dispensary for $35 each.
