The governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) unveiled a revised marijuana legalization bill on Wednesday, making a series of changes to previously introduced legislation and transmitting it to the Senate for consideration.
Gov. There’s not a lot of research on cannabis use and its impact on athletes. Here’s what some experts have to say on the matter.
Rest days are very important for people who work out regularly.
The more people physically exert themselves, the more they realize how important these days off are, whether they’re doing active recovery or spending the day chilling out.

A little genetic engineering, a lot of research, and a few metal tanks full of yeast bacteria could make mass-production possible.
From a purely chemical standpoint, a cannabinoid is a cannabinoid and a THC molecule is a THC molecule, no matter how it’s produced, whether in a lab or grown on a farm.
From a legal perspective, a cannabinoid is a cannabinoid -- at least in Canada.
Production and distribution of CBD is held to the same standards as the psychoactive compounds in cannabis.

The 405-hour certificate programs will offer students a selection among four categories: the business of cannabis; cannabis agriculture and horticulture; medical cannabis; and compliance.
If Max Simon’s mission goes as planned, this cannabis educator and entrepreneur will be congratulating young graduates next spring wearing mortarboards displaying the Cannabis sativa leaf (or maybe the indica one).
That’s because Simon and his Ojai, California, company, Green Flower, are teaming up with four universities and a college to build an online cannabis education program.

Cannabis producers around the world are finding digital solutions, embracing automation in their operations to streamline workflows.
In 2019, the U.S. saw a steady surge in legal cannabis sales, reaching $12.4 billion -- a 37 percent increase year-over-year from 2018, where sales amounted to roughly $9.1 billion.
But this healthy trend was quickly curbed with the onset of the global pandemic this year, and the strict shelter-at-home directives that followed soon after.
With little time to adjust, cannabis producers and retailers were left to scramble as their operations came to a near halt.
