The state is already experiencing an influx of out-of-state operators and brands landing in the Big Apple looking to set up shop. A recent New York Times article stated over 60,000 jobs will be created in the first few years of legal sales. New York is set to become a pillar of East Coast cannabis, with other states in the region likely to follow its lead.
