The Business of Cannabis: Cultivating a Ninety-Million Dollar Market in the Nutmeg State
In June, the Hartford Business Journal will host The Business of Cannabis, a forum highlighting the opportunities and obstacles in the potential $90 million market in the Nutmeg State. Connecticut marijuana sales fall somewhere between $50 million and $60 million a year at eighteen licensed, highly regulated dispensaries, and that's what the general assembly legalizing adult use marijuana which would instantly multiply sales several times and bring in perhaps $90 million annually in much needed tax revenue for the state.
