It's 2021 and the cannabis industry is once again heating up. With companies scaling and cannabis job creation increasing by 77,000+ since 2020, now is the perfect time to focus our efforts on the teams we are building. SMART & Cannaclub's Virtual Cannabis Career Fair is the premiere event to learn about careers in cannabis & how to break into the industry! Who We Are ? SMART (Student Marijuana Alliance for Research & Transparency) & Cannaclub are the leading national organizations for college students and alumni to get involved in the cannabis industry. Through education and partnerships, we help: - Host seminars + workshops - Facilitate network-building - Provide affordable access to events + resources - Pipeline talent to work opportunities within cannabis We are the hub for the next generation of #CollegeCannabis! You should attend this event if you are a/an: - Enrolled college student - Recent graduate - Experienced professional looking to transition into cannabis - Cannabis company/org looking to hire - Canna-curious individual interested in learning about cannabis careers Agenda ⏰ How to Join SMART's Virtual Career Fair will be hosted via Hopin - our online event venue. A follow-up email with Hopin registration info will be sent a minimum of 10 days prior to the event. You will be required to register for the event using this link. Note: Registering through Eventbrite does not automatically give you access to Hopin. For those signing up for the Career Mapping sessions, we will create individual Zoom conference links that will be sent to you via email. Live Sessions Live sessions will be running on three different stages each 45 min to 1-hour long sessions. Each session will consist of Q&A with industry-leading panelists to learn from Hiring Opportunities Leading up to the event will be posting hiring roles via the following channels: StudentMMJ.com Opportunity Board - @StudentMMJAlliance Instagram - @Cannaclub.UCLA Instagram - @UCSBCannaclub Instagram Career Mapping / Resume Workshops The Career Mapping portion of the event will be separate scheduled sessions via Google Meet with one professional assigned to 2-3 attendees max who have purchased tickets for this portion of the event. Each attendee can expect a minimum of 15 minutes dedicated to reviewing their candidate profile + resume. Open Networking Open networking will be allowed for attendees to visit and interface in the Hopin Exhibitor Hall with partner companies and organizations.
