Cannabis Night Live
“Changing the Narrative and your Perspective”
6:00 pm: “Cannabis Hour” networking with cannabis and hemp experts, organizations, and business.
7:00 pm: Introduction by M4MM NJ Chapter President Jasi Edwards and Vice President Tiyahnn Bryant of speakers: Mayor Reed Gusciora, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, Cannabis Regulatory Commission Executive Director Jeff Brown, New Jersey State Attorney Austin Edwards, NJ Weedman Ed Forchion, and more that will speak about the current happenings in the cannabis and hemp industry.
7:15 pm: “Fireside Chats” for about 30-45 minutes with the speakers and/or their staff. Each fireside chat will have a chair for the speaker facing the seated guests whom they will be doing a Q & A with. Guests will have a choice of which chat they want to join based on their personal interests. The topics are as follows:
Group 1 – CRC; licensing, application process
Group 2 – Policy; current bills, expungement info,
Group 3 – Workforce development; ancillary businesses
Group 4 – Economic Development; zoning, support, impact zone funding allocation
Group 5 - Running a Cannabis Business; Q & A with NJ Weedman
8:00 pm or sundown: showing The Grass is Greener on the jumbo projection screen in the parking lot. Blow up sofas will be available from vendor (reserved for VIP guests) and city hall will be providing chairs. Fireside Chats will continue throughout the movie for those that wish to. Popcorn and water will be included.
9:20 - 10:00 pm: Following the movie there will be a quick announcement for instructions and a thank you for attending. Guests will be encouraged to stay; music will be playing until 10:00pm.
During this event C.U.M.M.A. Laws will be observed for open air smoking if guests were to bring their own cannabis to personally consume; though no vendors will be selling THC products as they are not licensed to do so.
Voter registration.
CDB and Hemp vendors will be invited, along with non-profit organizations that have re-entry programs, and retail and food vendors.
